Dale & Klein, L.L.P. was formed on May 1, 1989. The firm is engaged in civil trial law and family law. Civil trial law, including representation of plaintiffs and defendants, comprises approximately 60% of the practice with family law comprising approximately 40% of the practice.

Our office is located in McAllen Texas. We handle cases throughout the Hidalgo, Starr, Willacy, and Cameron counties and throughout the State upon special request.

Since its founding by attorneys Roy Dale and Katie Pearson Klein in 1989, our firm has provided the highest quality legal representation to individuals and institutions through our unique combination of expertise, dedication, and personal attention. Roy S. Dale was a licensed attorney for over fifty- nine (59) years at the time of his death in 2020.  He relocated to Brownsville, Texas from Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1978. He received his law degree from Indiana University in 1961. He practiced in various law firms before merging Roy S. Dale, P.C. with Katie Pearson Klein, P.C. to form Dale & Klein. Katie Pearson Klein graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 1978 and was associated with two (2) McAllen law firms and the District Attorney's Office of Hidalgo County, Texas, and served as City Attorney of the City of Pharr, Texas before becoming a solo practitioner in September of 1981. The law firm is involved primarily in civil litigation and family law. Ms. Klein is board certified in family law and also in civil trial law.  Our firm handles appellate matters in state and federal courts.
